Social Media is about communication, not broadcasting
There is some point that I wounder why people do not understand. Social Media is about communication and not broadcasting. I found this sentance somewhere on the web and it made me think. Something that do not happen very often. Joke aside, just think about how many people and corporations try to use facebook, twitter and co only to get other peoples's attention, not to collaborate.
I suppose I am not the first to mention the Importance of Social Media and how it makes us communicate to each other. When you try to be somehow popular. It does not matter if you are a photographer, journalist, dj or business consultant. Most of the people and self employed do this only because of the only 5 minutes time it takes to have an account and start writing , posting, and retwitting. But never answer.
So if you have two people. The first one writes everyday something and never answers the comments his fans or followers are posting. The second one posts something interesting from time to time and gives some answers also from time to time. Who do you think will get more popular on the long term ?
